A Grave Mistake

I want to start a grave mistake, I already retreived the ghostly cap, but i still can't enter the graveyard. what am i missing?

 

Have you finished the quest The House of Twain? You need to to start a grave mistake.
Also you don't need the ghostly cap to enter the grave mistake graveyard.

 

ok ok I haven't found the patience to do house of twain yet, the wiki was more confusing than just walking through the place like one big maze, (I have yet to finish it)

Here's the simple solution.
Go to front entrance, go to the right, throw emeralds in the either carpet eyes, go inside the door that opened, throw an emerald on the grave, once it disappears run out to the front of the building, there's a graveyard to your left (if your facing away from the house) in the graveyard (ghost cap required to enter) there's a quartz grave which should now be open, go down there, and just follow the path from there.

 

there you go buddy!

As others have said, you need to do House of Twain. If it's frustrating for you or you don't feel like doing puzzles, the wiki is your friend.

 

where do you put the emeral on the grave, I can't find it

do you have to wait for the emerald to despawn, where do you put the emerald in that room?

 

If the emerald doesn't go thru the soul sand, switch servers and try again
