A Funeral For My Beloved Fish

My dear gold-fish named Yoda passed away. At the age of 2 1/2 years he was mighty strong and still going. He went through rough and thin, bags and transfers, murky waters and clear waters. Ah he was a mighty lass. He saw the death of his beloved friend, Remy and kept on pushing on. Oh what a mighty lad. He enjoyed his late night feedings all the company, oh how he loved attention. Ah but alas it was not to be forever. Yoda never did like young children, as wise as he was he never gave out his years of experience to kids. A kid untrained in the ways of fish etiquette would be his fate. Little did you know yoda your whole jar of fish food would be emptied into the tank. Poor yoda died of overeating, oh poor yoda im sorry that your stomach popped you just kept on eating. Im so sorry yoda, I feel as if it 's my fault. ​

I am so sorry, I bet he is living happily in heaven with Remy and they're living healthy with the right amount of food!

 

May this be a lesson to young fish: over-eating can kill you.
He died a mighty death in the ultimate battle of fish vs food, may the goldfish Valkyries take him to goldfish Valhalla.

I am very sorry for your loss. Losing a pet can be sad, but when that pet is so close to you that it is family, it's awful. I've had 5 fish and I know that it can be hard - waking up in the morning to see your best friend is dead. The reason I love dogs is that they are great for companionship - but I don't want to go through the pain when it dies. I am sorry that you had to lose a good fish, if you need to let any sadness out, my shoulder is ready to be damped. Rest in peace, he will.
