Build A Clocktower

This is something I'm working on for a single player medieval style city (I guess somewhat Wynncraft style, lol). Can't seem to get the tower right. I think it looks okay, but something seems off. I was thinking of making the square, clock part a bit larger, and just working that into the lower part. Maybe it's the roof shape, which also was causing some problems...Any suggestions?

(Btw, I cropped it because the rest of the city looks really, really bad right now :p I might post screenshots of everything when I'm done, idk.)

 

Thanks for the feedback. I tried doing a circle with spruce wood behind it in that open part, but thought it looked weird with the clock directly below it. Idk. That's another thing I forgot to mention I wanted to fix, the clock shape itself. It's an awkward size that makes it harder to make a circle that doesn't end up like a diamond. Hopefully that'll be corrected if I make the whole thing a block size bigger though.

 

Nope, just iron bars. I don't use the 1.9 snapshot much :p
