I beat HICH after so FUCKING LONG!

When I started playing HICH was around the end of 2019 and I was having so much fun playing it, It took me 1 month to get to level 50~ on my first playthrough and I was very excited to have gotten that far but in-came Jehicular (Later named HICH hunter) who failed to kill me, I then changed worlds and went offline in a safe zone. The next day I logged on and I was killed by him practically minutes after logging on but he fucked up that day he duelled me when he activated his Courage combo, I died but remembered his name for my next run.​

I had Jehicular friended back then to see if they joined my world so I could world hop if they came, Same thing happened, I got jumped in Herb cave at around 3am while watching anime I saw him and I quickly logged off for the night (around a week later). It was at this point where I looked for advice on how to escape his wraith.
This is how I met YY and we discussed how to escape or know if he was there quicker (YY didn't help much) so i continued to look for more help and this is when I met "Linnyflower the ironman btw" person and we quickly became friends.​

After how much progress I made I started getting HICH's to lvl 50+ in 1-2 days at that point in time, Jehicular couldn't keep up with how quick I was leveling so he started making more HICH's to hunt me this was also the time where I had my first lvl 82 HICH, It only got that high level because he was leveling his own HICH's. ​

At this point in the game I was so bored of Wynn I felt like it was all meaningless to play HICH, I had burnt out.
Then I met my best friend Sir7alot (who helped me so much with dungeons and if you ever need help seriously talk to this chad). I had gotten out of my phase of being burnt and continued to push at Jehicular hoping I beat it. This was also the time I found out the lvl 79-69 safe zone in Jehicular's armour and I planned to sit there and get all my professions to lvl 98, I told Linnyflower about this plan and then Linny did it marking the first lvl 100 HICH since YY did it, I was happy for them but they didn't listen to me and did CUR on a DXP weekend and died to Jehicular. I was back to almost giving up, I felt if Linny couldn't then I couldn't either.​

I had a hard struck amount of loneliness during quarantine and my body clock was fucked, I attempted suicide atleast once because of stress and my failures in HICH and in real life ordeals. I got fed up and got in contact with the moderator Burnette(Mariah) because this 1 player was everywhere on the map it was impossible to get away from him, Me and Linny got desperate and started researching hack clients to see if they could do what he did and there was the answer, he was hacking. we we're not too sure about it but me and linny kept trying to get proof, it was difficult because he only hunted HICH's with the hardcore badge still there. At that point I was determined to get him banned it was my sanity on the line and I planned to continue. I ended up fighting him in the end again and I was recording (Message me on discord for recordings) and I would watch the clips over and over and over to see how he was winning against me how to improve and what his damages were, I spent alot of time looking at Wynndata ingredients at that point ingame after HOURS of searching with linny in the call I stumbled over some interesting Ingredients some could say overpowered that nobody talked about and I dabbled in these ingredients and made a build to fight Jehicular with, I found him ingame and killed him with them using an alive status HICH as bait, I /class'd to my dead one and killed him. In that recording I compared my walk speed to his and realised he was oddly quicker than me so I looked for ways to get more walk speed and found it. Feathers of Grace exactly 23 of them with a poisonous spider eye to break vanish spell. With all this knowledge I used the HICH that I still had alive to replicate his one. During our next fight I found out he was using water damage instead of air which I thought was strange and that was when I found out about Viking stones (I was shocked how good and obvious it was), Made my own build again My "master piece."​

I had heard that my friend Linny had gotten killed by Jehicular and I told Mariah to tp to Jehicular and to not my surprise the HICH hunter was a cheater and got banned.

This sparked the grand rush to making HICH's, Obviously I was one of these people. Without the HICH hunter I played atleast 20 hours a day to get ahead of all the others, It was Nynnf(Me), Linnyflower, Felinkaaa, Catking00 and hexQT at the head of this rush.​

At this point I knew I could beat HICH after months of trying so I had nothing to lose anymore, I started hunting the others. It was around lvl 80 when I jumped Felinkaaa and got them down to less then 2k health but didn't finish them off because I couldn't bring myself to kill Linny's friend. After that I tried to kill Linnyflower and couldn't bring myself to even take away a little % of their HP because we went through so much together. I was the highest HICH in the game after YY so that's why I was hunting everyone. My HICH died to a bug in Galleons graveyard when I was going for completionist, Lvl 82 again everyone laughed at me for dying in Galleons graveyard at lvl 82 I was so mad that I started hunting again giving me the nickname of HICH hunter/ Grim Nynnfer, Catking00 was one of the people who laughed at me. I hated Catking00 so much after that, I wanted to kill them but I needed to remake a class all the way up to lvl 80~ to even try so I was upset and almost gave up on beating HICH because I wouldn't beat it before them all. But then I came up with my moto "A dead player is worse than one that gives up and doesn't re-try". Then Linny beat HICH around the time I was around lvl 70 again because I couldn't afford to give up after all that time I kept leveling and leveling, I got to lvl 89 when Felinkaaa "Beat" HICH but I found out that they didn't do all the Mini-Quests and said they didn't plan to so all I had to do was kill Hex and Catking, Unlikely for Catking who was 1 prof level away from Completion I found them in the Avo woods and killed them in seconds without a second of regret. which left hexQT who died to a glitch too (Fall damage in CUR), I was so happy that I was going to beat it 3rd.​

I thought nobody was close to me in level so I started going for the highest total level HICH which was 1163, Jehicular held that title, My long rival So I stole the title of highest total level HICH at lvl 1190. At that time I hit lvl 1190 I was combat 105 and RarityHunter and ppcat_ were hunting me daily and I decided to end it all and beat HICH once and for all. ​

This should serve as a reminder that while video games are fun, real life always comes first
this is definitely a great accomplishment though, take some well deserved rest

Is this worth trying? Like you get recognition and all but it looks really difficult. i already started a character like this but im only level 17 after a couple hours so i was wondering if this was worth doing? also do you basically have to reset once you die?
