but its just me
needs to be more obvious.
the scavenger hunts were kinda bs, and I could think of many answers for the hints.
the deciding factors were mostly if you got the right one or not, but hey thats just me :)
ex. For the experienced pushed it into fire, it could be the animal dungeon (lost sanc) boss

 

We were open to other answers, during the event we agreed that some things were true too, this is just how we planned, the meaning of the Scavenger Hunt is for you to don't complete them, it has to be hard.

 

most of the experienced players already knew the ins and outs of (nearly) everything to every clue, all it was is a guessing game,

 

It's a thinking game, you have to think and use your knowledge to complete the hunt, obviously older players will have more experience, you also needed strategy to buy scrolls, use the airship, organize who will go to each hint, etc.

We will try to make them easier next time, though, but your team is supposed to be thinking with you.

Actually, the hints gave most people quite a challenge! The majority of the people who did attend generally agreed that the scavenger hunt was well done, albeit we were a bit messy with timing. "But based on the others, they know (nearly) all the possibilities" is what one might think, but you'd be surprised. Also, the whole point of a scavenger hunt is to test your knowledge and riddle solving and less running to get the actual screenshot. If you know more, then you're obviously better equipped.

All I can say is that if you think the hints are easy, you should find a partner and come attend the next event! You would do super well (hey, it's free money), as most people found some difficulty in this scavenger hunt.

Knowing the scale of the event, I'd assume a good majority are semi-new players, who don't know a good majority

personally, I think its more on the riddle solving side than knowledge.
it takes a pretty long time to get to know the ins and outs of nearly everything.
But those few dedicated players, are set back ~50% due to the randomness of things
Overall, I think the scavenger hunt was very well executed, due to the amount of balance between the new and the old players, as the old players are set back by the randomness, knowing with their immense backround knowledge of (nearly) all the possibilities the hunt could be hinting at.
I praise both of the scavenger hunts, due to the large scale, and the effort put in.
