im doing this quest and we have the three item she we tried like 2 times and yahya basement won't open pls help

 

Did you relog, /class, or switch worlds after obtaining the items?
If not
Redstone breaks sometimes, try a different world

 

The map needs to be fresh. You can't relog, switch worlds, or switch classes with the map, or you need a new one.

As the other people said... You need to stay in that single world you were in for the items to work.

I Actually don't know if you title is to highlight the quest you need help in...

 

The painting is the only item that must be collected in the same world you throw it into the hopper. The spoon and mushroom are fine if they are used in different worlds, but since the painting has different "coding" with it, it breaks if it is taken to another world (similar to the mechanical chip breaking/turning into a Steve head if you switch servers).

Make sure you are in a "fresh" world when getting the painting, since a restart will break it if you disconnect before entering the basement. Also, if things go wrong, make sure to get multiple spoons/mushrooms so you can retry without having to go through the quest areas again.

(And yes, the title is referring to the quest "???", which involves Yahya's basement.)
