    pirates go by a few names- Nick names, captain names, and by their real name (if not, an alias). I made the mistake of calling him Barbossa because he is actually Barbarossa (big difference yeaaa).
    Redbeard is the pirate/captain name that he goes by. His mates call him Barbarossa, but we know him by Redbeard. I would rather call him by his real name over his pirate name because Barbarossa is so much cooler, like screw all the color-beard names, so unoriginal for pirates
