SPOILER 1.18 New Rare Mobs! Parts 1 And 2!

Wow I'm back again!
I really wanted to make this because I love looking for rare mobs and seeing their drops.
Another rare mob thread you might want to check out is the Rare Mob Megathread, which inspired me to make this. This one will probably be updating faster, but the other one will probably add more mobs per update.

Speaking about contributors, if you want your mobs up here, please read the information in the spoiler drop-downs.

Spoiler: What can I do if I want my mob(s) up here?

It's simple. Just leave a reply asking if I can put your mobs in one of the area drop-downs with a screenshot of your mob and its drops if it has any. I will of course give you full credit if you contribute a mob and its drops. If you DON'T want your mob up here, please read the next spoiler drop-down.

Spoiler: What if I don't want my mob(s) up here, but want to reply with my mobs anyway?

Simply just follow the instructions in the previous drop-down, but don't ask if I can put your mobs up here.

Spoiler: Special

This was COMPLETELY unexpected and it was really hard to kill. (It's Mama Zomble.)

It, of course, dropped this. It's purely just a collectible.

Spoiler: Corruption Spikes

I found this guy three times and it dropped nothing but a single blaze powder each time I killed it.


I also found this enemy that actually dropped something.

Spoiler: Almuj Desert

I found this one while trying to get gathering levels.

It dropped this. It is not a 100% drop rate and is a bit rare.

Spoiler: Nesaak Forest

I found this one 18 minutes after I found the two Corruption Spikes mobs.


It dropped Wood Shavings, a Rotten Log, and Pykrete, but to prevent this from getting too big I'll put the best one here.


Here's another one I found while doing Underice.


This is what it dropped. Doesn't look very useful, mainly because life steal isn't the most useful thing low-level.


I found this one while looking for rare mobs at Twain Mansion. I'm pretty sure it's not a Twain Mansion mob.


Like the Treaunt Sorcerer, it dropped Pykrete. It also dropped a Large Lapis, but I believe that's just a coincidence since Large Lapis drops from all Nesaak mobs.


I found this guy while running around Nesaak Forest.

It dropped this, and it looks pretty useless besides for XP. (I'm really not sure what to use this for besides XP)

Spoiler: Troms Jungle

I found this guy about 1 minute into first entering the Troms Jungle. Someone stop my luck!


It dropped three things the first time I killed it, so I'll only show the one.


The second time it dropped the same items and Ancient Coins, but that's just a coincidence since all mobs in the Troms Jungle drop Ancient Coins.

Spoiler: Dernal Jungle

This one kept running from me so it was nearly impossible to get a good screenshot


It dropped this. Seems like you could easily make something really good accessories with it.

Spoiler: Llevigar Fields

I found this guy completely unexpectedly. It sadly did not drop anything.


I found this one completely unexpectedly too.


It dropped this which looks useful for builds that suffer from negative HPR, but otherwise it doesn't look super useful. The %HPR seems very high for a ring though.

Spoiler: Dark Forest

I found this one while doing Taproot.
I had to kill it four times before it dropped this.


I found this one a few minutes after finding the Kerasot Toxifont.


Like many of the other rare mobs on here, it dropped three items. A Nasty Residue, Foul Fluid, and Hellish Cinders. I'll only show the best drop.

Spoiler: Light Forest

This enemy isn't 100% a rare mob since it spawns commonly in the Mantis Nest, but it rarely spawns when a Curious Foliage is killed. It sadly dropped nothing.

Spoiler: Kander Forest

This one looks really cool.


It dropped three things. Hellish Cinders, Tenebrous Plasma, and a Ritual Catalyst. The Ritual Catalyst is not a 100% drop rate. I'll put the best item here.

That's all I got for now, and again, I'll constantly be updating this every time I find a new mob and every time somebody wants to contribute.

(I did, I'm dumb, so I'll have to leave out some mobs I had.)

I'll be updating this a lot too.

Onto the mobs!

Spoiler: Dernal Jungle

I found this guy while doing Troubled Tribesmen.


It dropped this.

Spoiler: Cinfras County

I found this guy quickly after I talked to the NPC that tells you about it.


He dropped this.

Spoiler: Lake Gylia Area

I found this guy while searching for a different rare mob.


It dropped this.


I found this guy and he killed me in two hits the first time. "GERT BUFF, GERT STRONG, GERT SWOLE!"


He dropped this.


This one doesn't spawn naturally, but rare spawns when a Terrified Pig is killed.

Spoiler: Canyon of the Lost

The first time I found this guy the only thing actually there was its name tag and the mob wasn't there.


It dropped this.

Spoiler: Molten Heights

I honestly have nothing to say for this one. I was doing nothing at the time and it does nothing very special. Well, except for the fact that it is needed to obtain the Pride of the Heights!


It dropped Demonic Ashes, Soulbound Cinders, and an Unrefined Mysterious Metal. I'll show the two important items.

This is actually used to obtain the Pride of the Heights! All you need to do is trade one of these in at the Refining Merchant in Maex and you can get the Pride of the Heights.

Here are the Soulbound Cinders too.


I found this one in Upper Molten Heights and I think it might only spawn there. It has 3 forms, each with more heads. This probably means you're cutting off a head each time you kill it.


It dropped Demonic Ashes, Ashen Hide, Infernal Flesh, and an Unrefined Mysterious Metal like the other rare enemy. I'll show the drop that is unique to the mob.

Spoiler: Sky Islands

I don't have anything to say about this one except for don't let it fall off the edge.


It dropped this.


This guy looks really cool AND it has a ton of health! It has 100k health!


It dropped an Air Ornament and a Deep Ice Core. I will show the best drop, and the best drop is REALLY good.

Spoiler: Corkus

I found this guy while doing The Envoy Part 2. Sorry for the bad screenshot, but I was at low health and the enemy was ranged. It sadly dropped nothing.


I have found this guy multiple times and it is WAY TOO FAST. The only way I got this screenshot and killed it is because it got stuck against Fallen Factory. I couldn't get its name in the screenshot because it was causing so much smoke from spamming charge and tp that it was blocking the name.


It dropped a shorting wire, optic lens, and a 7-yottabyte storage component. I will show the best drop. In my opinion, its drop is not worth how hard it is to kill. (Not saying the item is useless, it's just a bit too hard to get this item.)

idk but i've never seen one and this guy does right when he decides to make this post so its not unlikely? although its also possible he got rly lucky lol

 

in the nemract area theres 2 rare mobs I found the skelemancer drops nothing special and the spirit of saints row drops souls of the enraged and the other souls

 

Nope, poor me just found Mama Zomble while mining in Troms

 

Can confirm, saints row spirit drops a mangled soul and something else I forgot

omg I found that thing weeks ago but was level 12 and couldn’t get a picture so I didn’t tell anyone about it

Yeah, most times I found it I tried chasing it and it disappeared so fast I didn't know how it even escaped. Imo I don't think the drop is worth how hard the enemy is to kill.

 

Hunting around the provinces, tracking these things seems intresting. I just love hunting for elusive things. And from the amount of mobs seen, it seems that it will keep people occupied for a long time.
That's why I love a few mobs in the current version, like the flarelings, the imps, and the Almuj desert gold scorpion.
The drops are also another reason to hunt them.

3 times, debatably 4. it seems like you are completely overlooking all of the amazing drops, and the things he called "kinda useless" arent even that useless.. though after reading the main post again it looks like you are just quoting what the author said so I guess I can drop this now

its useless in the long run since you could get better gear by just farming enemies or doing quests
