1.13 For Wynn

i dont know if anyone did this before but im just gonna talk about it anyway
as you probably noticed wynncraft decieded to update so that 1.13 players can play wynn
there is nothing wrong with that but they decieded to update it on the day 1.13 was released (or maybe the day after idk)
it wouldve been better to update it like 1 week after so they couldve probably bug tested some things
also on top of that who actually asked for an update for 1.13 ? it only gave us another broken quest (purple and blue) which you cant complete either like hidden city and chunk error which are almost inescapable without using /kill
i appreciate the effort from jpresent but this update is just awful and disappointing

Having a week of extra time most likely wouldn't have changed anything. By the time 1.13 went live, Wynn had already been made 1.13 compatible based off of snapshots, and the majority of bugs had been tested and fixed during the last week or two before the release. You do have to understand though, that a content team of <30 active people can't test and notice everything. Gamebreaking bugs such as swimming in the air, malfunctioning doors and clipping through walls were all fixed, which were the most important part. As for live server exclusive issues such as missing chunks, they simply couldn't have been noticed beforehand with the system we use. Other issues which weren't noticed during the testing, such as a few random invisible buttons aren't really that big of a problem when you can always downgrade to any version between 1.8 and 1.12.2. So, since the compatibility for older versions is still there, is there any reason not to add compatibility for 1.13?

 

Swimming through the air?

 

1.13 is rly bad pls remove ;c

 

I can imagine fighting a boss like that, just swim into the arena and start flying around.

 

It looks like you're high and you just figured out you can move your arms. You're just going like "WOAH!! WOAH!!"
