Hello everyone. Here's a painting illustrating Duravan, a floating island in the fictional world of Aerium. Enjoy!

Aerium. A mysterious world of massive floating islands. Duravan is one of these many islands. It's terrain is dominated by its rugged mountains and dense rain forests. It also has many rivers and lakes. As it is home to many deadly creatures, it is very dangerous to be outside its few habitated cities. It has three major cities: Khore-it's capital and largest city, Isilas, and Yiatta. However, there are many small mountain villages scattered across the island that refuse to migrate to the safety of the cities.

Yes. What's illustrated in the picture is just a small uninhabited part of the island. Eventually, I plan on painting all the islands and major cities from many different angles to bring the world to life and give people a greater idea of the scale and whatnot.
