I used to think if something was bad, that meant it was hard to play, but that was before shaman. It's always been super easy to play and worse than mage at basically everything, I need a reminder as to why it was added to the game in the first place.

I'd say Black is objectively the best non mythic dagger and it's arguably better than inferno and grimtrap. Cata it depends on what you mean by better, but again I'd say it outclasses cata definitely in terms of sheer bulk and flexibility in builds and I don't think nirvana is able to compete with it very well either, but weathered is highly debatable
