    What’s Esperanto like? I’m curious since it’s a “constructed ‘international’ language”.
    
    I think as long as you believe that you can handle that many languages and they intrigue you, you’ll be fine.

    Esperanto is designed to have very simple grammar with no exceptions, and a 1-1 correspondence between letters and sounds. Most of the words come from Romance languages (like Spanish, Italian, etc.), and some from Germanic (English, German, so on).

    Supposedly the grammar is from Slavic languages (Russian, Polish, ...).
    In my opinion, it doesn’t really have the same charm as a natural language, and because it is so regular, it feels a bit stale to me.
