Seems like people are giving you a hard time about the concept of necro-posting, so I'll try to explain it nicely. (Don't worry, I was also kinda confused about it at first.) If the last post on a thread has been there for more than a month, it is considered "dead" until the original author revitalizes it by posting, also known as a "bump".
