first, why make an ipad when you have an ipod?

well I guess some games are hard to play with a small phone so...

Then why make a miniature version of it?
Everyone still uses the regular iPads anyway...

And why make it lighter? So it's easier to drop it when we're holding it? I mean, the iPad is already too light.

so then you make a fucking bigger version of an already-oversized iPod.


And let us draw with it?

I'd rather pay $0.50 for a pencil and $2.00 for a stack of paper than pay $600 of my parents' hard earned money to do exactly what i can do for $2.50.

Okay, I have a bias towards Apple stuff. I can just say clearly that this is NOT made for gaming. If you are just thinking gaming all the time, stop thinking this is going to be a failure. This is not the computer/tablet for you, and I can explain.

@Tama is completely right about everything he says. Its a steep price, but its made for the worker, not the gamer. A bigger iPad means more data storage, more battery life, and better tech inside. It also works as a laptop and a drawing tablet, both are optional but great for the respective person. It also is high quality and light, allowing it to be used for pretty much anyone who wants a general business class computer. Now lets compare it to its competitor, the Surface. My dad has a Surface, and its the highest quality one. What is the problem here? It should be able to do everything the Pro can do and more. Somehow though, it doesn't. It crashes and freezes regularly, and overall just dosent work. Plus, it can't be used as a powerful drawing tool that the Pro or just a regular iPad can. Speaking of regualar iPads, my dad's first gen iPad runs circles around the Surface, and it came out 5-6 years ago. Try comparing that to the Surface.

So overall, its not a gaming computer. Its not something you watch movies on all the time. Its made for corporations that want light, portable, and capable computer ready to make powerpoints, spreadsheets, graphs, short films or ads and more (and it can, since it can run microsoft office apps). So think a bit outside of the box, and see thats its high quality for the price its at. And by the way, I probably won't buy it because of the price. I already mentioned its uses that I can't use myself right now.

 

I would definitely, very much love it if people posting here might read other posts before typing a few sentences saying that the product is shit and is just another iPad. Or, you know, looking it up on google before saying something. Maybe think: oh, instead of saying some random crap about a product I've never heard of, maybe I should look up something about it first??!!!!??

There's a reason why the NHS in England uses iPads instead of surface tablets - they have much better UX design.

 

Suppose we got to wait for the Ipaper to get released then, so we can use the Ipencil for proper drawing.
Meanwhile i'll drink some Icoffee and erase that mistake with my Irubber.

Long story short: Apple is making some bad decisions.
There is no excuse to make up for the stylus that costs 99$.
Sure, this new ipad might not be the worst thing ever, but for the price it sells for a lot of better alternatives are available.
Besides, there are a lot of good drawing programs on pc, so there isn't really a need to buy an oversized tablet for drawing.
Although drawing with an actual stylus feels more natural, the fact that its on a tablet takes away that advantage.

If apple keeps on doing things like this, it might be their end.

The stylus is not needed to use the iPad Pro. It is not aimed at ordinary users like you, it is aimed at creative professionals who can afford and are quite willing to pay $99 for a stylus.
Do you realise how much money Apple has? $200 billion, with a market capitalization of almost $1 trillion... So yeah, it's not going to be the 'end of Apple' if people like you complain about it.
