So, here are my 3 theories on why the witherists aren't anti-bovemists in all their trashy glory:

    Theory 1:
NOTE: I will explain why it says "down with the bovemists" in their lair.

Yes, I know the Witherists thing kinda died, but I recently reached level 60 and was able to see the final wither head in person. And I noticed something... Most skulls on dead island are wither skulls. Maybe the skulls rotted and turned black. Or maybe not... Also notice how the pit of the dead is near Saint's Row and the spirits are a form of wither. Also, the graveyard near the Bovemist church on dead island is full of "Awakened Spirits" (Floating wither heads). Who ever said Bovemists only believed in one god? Maybe over time they found a new god. It was the Wither. This could explain why most dead people near Bovine churches have some sort of wither aspect. The Wither is the god of the dead, so when the Bovine Followers die, they live in the underworld with him. And when they "Awaken," they're physical bodies have become wither-like due to death or the Wither's corruption.

Now you're saying "But Shiny, in the Witherist lair it says 'down with the bovemists'." Yes, I know. I'm getting there. The dead Bovemists who "Awaken" are corrupted, and no longer follow the ways of the Bovemist. They attack others, and despise of Bovemists. But the thing is, the Bovemists still believe in the Wither because they don't know he will corrupt them. And after a while, the "Awaken" ones might develop a full physical body. Then they can go full force with their plans to destroy the Bovemists.

EDIT: Also notice how all the Framed Wither Heads are in Bovine Churches.

So, Wrap-up: The Witherists are dead Bovemists who are corrupted.

    Theory 2:
Remember how I talked about the framed wither heads? When you put them all together, they say:
"The Lord got lost in Memories"

So, what you would first think is that the Witherists' Lord got lost in some sort of Memory. Or, does it mean something else? Maybe this implies that when dead Bovemists "Awaken" they forget there other god Salted in their memories. It could also imply that the Wither was forgotten, but was rediscovered by the Bovemists.

Also, a reply from the previous part of this theory made me think of something else.

As she said, maybe some of the Bovemists didn't follow this new god. Well, that is interesting. These could be "Awakened" Bovemists with recovered bodies, but that can't be true, as when "Awakened" Spirits get their bodies back, they are more wither-like. These dead Bovemists don't have any resemblance of the Wither. So, maybe there are a few people who didn't truly follow the Wither. Or maybe, these dead Bovemists died before the re-discovery of the Wither.

That's all. If you see any contradictions in this theory, don't be shy to say! Also, tell me what you think about this whole situation, as well! I just needed to get this out there, as it's been on my mind recently.

    Theory 3:
Alright, so in part 2, someone told me about a lair on Alive Island. Now, all of the things related to the Witherists have been eliminated, but 1. One thing remains. This was my only hint:

This reply. I asked @@sc1020 about this lair, as it is now removed. I was told to go to his Wither Heads Discovered thread. There, I found the hint inside of the lair.
    "TH# H#US# OF T#AI# H#LD# MO## SE#R#TS F#ND TH# SY#B#L"
    Without missing letters...
"THE HOUSE OF TWAIN HOLDS MORE SECRETS FIND THE SYMBOL"

So, I went there. I went upstairs. And there is a carpet with a "symbol." The painting was removed, but the sign said
"Time flows, people die. I remain, to kill the alive."
    And inside...

Was this! This seems to be an edited version of Marius's grave, and a copy of a grave at the back of the house outside.

I believe that this is a shrine, and that Twain founded the Wither. Now, you could be asking "How does this relate them to being Bovemists?" Well, let's assume Marius was a bovemist, like most people. Maybe, during his time, the Bovine church could have been "corrupted." It is possible that the followers of the Bovine Churches were being taken over by greed. And so, Marius wanted to make sure that their souls were punished for putting money before their lord. That could explain the "Prison of Souls" under the white grave at Marius's house. It would also explain all the graves, as they could be the Bovine Followers corrupted by greed that Marius's wanted to punish.

The "Prison of Souls" was for the Priests. There are 4-5 (if you want to count Dead/Alive Island) Bovine Churches, and 4 cells in the prison. And notice how in the parkour there are Red-eyed Wither Skeletons on the wall, which could resemble what Marius thought his God looked like. Also notice how in the final room there is a "Phantom Twain." This could resemble Marius's Soul, and how he watches over the Priests' Souls. Also, the dining hall and Marius's Study are filled wither skulls, symbolizing that he obsessed over them. And the "Howling Phantoms" are wither heads that scream at you, resembling the way the Priests screamed as they died to the wither.

Anyway, when Marius Twain died, Bovemists came to pay their respects, but found a sinister secret: The Wither Shrine. It could be possible that this bovemist told the uppers of the churches about this "God" and they started to believe in it, which explains how they found it.

    [| Recap |]
Marius Twain was a bovemist who wanted to punish the corrupted churches of his time, and created the Wither. The Wither then was founded again by another bovemist after Marius's death and became part of the Bovine Church.

I hope you enjoyed the final part (Maybe?) to my Witherist Theory! And I'm sorry if this isn't really connecting the Witherists and the Bovemists as one group, but this was really the best I could do without covering stuff I already have. If you see any contradictions in this theory, don't be shy to say!
And I'm sorry if this doesn't really go under the "Witherists aren't Anti-Bovemists" title, but this explains why the Bovemists follow the Wither.
