Farming ingredients

I'm kind of new to wynncraft and recently I started doing professions, for context my character is lvl 39 on iroman mode, but getting ingredients seems to be really boring, lvling up the professions and acquiring the materials are quite fun imo, just the other part is too slow, any tips? do I need mob totems (I don't have a rank)?

 

Professions are kinda just like that. There's not really a way to do them without either spending a ton of money or grinding for an absurd amount of time. Typically I'd say buy them on the market if they're cheap, but since you're in ironman, I don't really think there's much to be done about that.

Yeah... you might be right, the grindy part is fine because of sb, but I still dont get how am I supposed to get the ingredients.

 

Ohoh! A probably not fast but reliable way to farm especially level specific-ish, mostly-predictable ingredients could be world events :o. It's what I did when my proffa levels weren't high enough to just greed out on crafter bags lol, and sometimes I still will go out and run some same-ish level events to get specific ingredients. Helps with getting a lil bit of xp and eventually runes too :).

 

Unless it's consistent or easy to get a particular ingredient, try looking for something else in that same level range.
Open EVERY chest you find, they often have random junk that's normally hard to come by.
