crack theory: changelings are aliens

So, as you may or may not know, Majin's Comet is a purple celestial body that appears in the sky over Fruma every 91 years. The last time it was seen was 91 years ago.
You know what celestial bodies are associated with? Insanity. Where in Fruma does insanity occur? The caverns under the Wastelands. Where are Changelings from? The Wastelands. What color are changelings? Purple.

Also, the comet seems to have been a cause for distress for the Fruman gods.

(this is half joking but genuinely has some merit to it)

 

Cosmic weirds are also purple! Given that weirds are tied very closely to their element and cosmic weirds are... cosmic, it would make sense that Purple is elementally NOT a mix between water and fire but is actually the color of the cosmic "element" probably rarely studied across wynn but perhaps more well known in ever-advanced Fruma. Coincidentally, weirds are very moldable (almost like shapeshifters), probably just a coincidence since weirds are naturally occurring in gavel (?), but it could also be an inherent trait the cosmic element (or just natural selection making sure only adaptable cosmic forces are seen in wynn).

(Edit) This would be the logical reason for changelings having magic so unfamiliar to Wynn/Fruma, because they be ALIENS with COSMIC MAGIC !11!!1

 

It’s entirely possible they’re purple due to their connection to poison, now that I think about it

 

I love the use of colored text whenever someone says purple, it makes this thread so whimsical.

I'm not sure this is accurate, though. The comet could be intertwined with the origin of Changelings, but I don't think Changelings are from outside of the Nameless Wynn Celestial Body. (Just like Weirds aren't from outside, they just are products of magic. (At least that's my view on them))

The spark is purple (so its alien) no I don't have a source for this; it's just vibes. But there are a lot of parallels to the way the spark works and what we already know about meteors (elemental magic, their effects, insanity, etc.). Basically, what OP said. The spark comes from something, and it might as well be SPACE, so changelings are (basically) aliens and also the player too, I guess (duh).
