I personally run this build. You can level it down to this if you want to try it. It deliberately skews towards the sub-optimal or non-meta, so if you're someone who wants a more meta build, I recommend tweaking it heavily or using a different one. I'm a believer in tankier, more QoL focused builds rather than optimal setups with a 7 digit dps or whatever you can theoretically achieve. I recommend playing around with any builds you get to make them more the way you want them.

If you've got a mythic wand, I'd recommend using that unless it's something super not-riftwalker focused. Depending how much money you have, fatal is a great option; you can buy a trash one for ~20 le and frankly that can carry you through every quest and raid (mine is an absolute trash roll I bought years ago and never felt the need to upgrade). If you've got a bit more budget, monster is overpowered pretty good for riftwalker, and can definitely make a lot of the harder endgame content much easier. Basically any wand will work though; riftwalker isn't that picky.

For armour or accessories, riftwalker is honestly one of the easier archetypes to build for; you don't need a ton of mana sustain (I use considerably more than needed, even factoring in bad rolls on items), you don't need to worry about health sustain much unless you crosspath into arcanist or use warp or something; you can even have negative health regen without it being more than an annoyance because you have access to heal. I'd personally recommend a decent amount of mana sustain, regen and steal both work well, although I prefer regen because it makes mobility outside of combat a lot more convenient. -2nd spell cost is good because you should be teleporting a lot, and damage, especially raw damage, is really good.
