In the Cow Tunnel quest, we find quite a few of Drale's cows trapped north of Ragni. How did they get there? And why is Drale unable to find his ship? Recall the flight to Corkus:

"The rebels awoke in a strange new land with no memory of their previous lives beyond vague details. Many seemed to believe they had been workers.
This land turned out to be a large island close to the Fruman gates: the island of Corkus. It is unknown how they got there."

Perhaps this memory wiping works on Wocs too.
Drale's ship may have crashlanded in the Wastelands, and he and his fellow Wocs fled northeast to the Wynn province where they lost the memory of their ship's crashsite, and Bylvis captured some Wocs there.
    Why Wastelands?
Presumably the Wastelands are post-Fruma content, but with the primary Fruma storyline complete, the Wastelands require a new questline. Given that we have now opened the doors pf the Fruma province to the entire world, Drale may hear of it and realize that his ship is somewhere there, opening an entirely new questline that may confront the unexplained problems of Wynncraft, such as the remaining Inquisitors, retrieving the hidden memories properly (likely Drale's first concern once we find the ship), post-Queen Fruman government, and of course Dern (since likely Drale's crash was related to the cosmic horrors and meteors that have not been discussed since early game in WynnEx).
Hopefully we will find his ship and use its firepower to destroy Orphion and Saphanis for good.

I remember seeing this on the discord cool to see it posted !

It's a neat idea, I could genuinely see this being one of the secret discoveries in the wastelands, though I don't expect the content team to make the Wocs storyline important to the main plot, this idea being contained in a sillier quest (to me wocs are inherently silly) amongst the heavy fruma / wastelands stuff could be a nice breather.

To my knowledge, the Wastelands are intended to be a Mistwoods-level sideplot.

I feel like they would have lost more memory if they crashed in fruma

Ngl I think it's weird that they still have the Corkians memories removed since the only way they would be able to lose them was via the inquisitors. Either the inquisitors somehow got to Corkus at the very moment the Corkians arrived and somehow wiped their memories or the original Corkians lied about losing their memories.

Anyways plothole aside it would be interesting if the Woc ship was in the wastelands and if it's crash was the reason why the wastelands is the wastelands.

I do think there is cosmic influence in the Wastelands, but not this
