Tool WynnVoiceChat - proximity and party voice chat for Wynncraft (Fabric 1.21.11)

Wynncraft has no voice server, so Simple Voice Chat does nothing there on its own. I made WynnVoiceChat, a small Fabric client mod that points your Simple Voice Chat at a relay, and the relay passes audio between players on the same world. Install it, join Wynncraft, accept the notice, talk. There is nothing to configure.



What it does

• Proximity voice on your world. The range is 32 blocks, halved when you whisper, and it matches the housing plot you are on.
• /wvc tier picks who can hear you: party (the default), friends and guild, or everyone nearby. Your party hears you anywhere in the game.
• A speaker icon on the nameplate. Green is party, blue is a friend, yellow is guild, white is a stranger.
• /wvc call <player> rings a mutual friend anywhere in the game. There is a call timer, and H hangs up.
• /wvc block silences someone both ways.

Reporting someone
Reports about voice come to me and the WynnVoiceChat moderators, not to Wynncraft staff. Wynncraft treats proximity voice like a private call, so please don't use /report or the Player Reports section for it.
In game, use /wvc report. It sends the last two minutes of what you heard to our moderators. If you just want someone gone, /wvc block works straight away.

Accounts and privacy
There is no account or password. The relay checks you with Mojang's session server, the same way a Minecraft server does. Voice is off until you accept the in-game notice, and you only hear players who accepted it too.

Install

1. Minecraft 1.21.11 with Fabric and Fabric API.
2. Simple Voice Chat 2.6 or newer.
3. WynnVoiceChat from GitHub releases (TODO MODRINTH: add the Modrinth link once the listing is approved).

You run both mods. SVC's own volume and push-to-talk settings still apply. WynnVoiceChat only wakes up on wynncraft.com.
