Remove the airship

The first time I got to Cinfras, I got pretty excited over the quests Acquiring Credentials and Flight in Distress. Fast Travel in Gavel is pretty lacking, with the only one within Gavel that you unlock before this being the railway from Llevigar to Karoc. So I assumed that, now that we had a Gavellian Passport and we could apparently ride airships, I'd have access to Fast Travel to at least a few cities in Gavel. Nope! Even Ahmsord (the literal Sky Islands airship city) didn't have a fast travel option. The entire Flight in Distress quest leaves an expectation that Gavel will be a rich and well connected province with airship networks, and it leaves players underwhelmed when Gavel ends up having a grand total of 3 (Juggler, Rodoroc-Thanos, Thesead-Eltom tunnel) inter-city fast travels.
So why not remove the airship? The quest could make it clear that you (as a human) are not normally allowed to fly on Gavellian airships (which is pretty much in-line with half the things Villagers say to you) and are only flying this time for some reason (hired on this flight as protection against Skyraider attacks?), it makes a lot more sense why the player doesn't get nearly as many fast travels in Gavel as they do in Wynn, Corkus, and Fruma.

Oh, and to boot, the airship doesn't actually help with any travel. Seeing the map of Wynncraft fast travel, you'll note that there's actually two disconnected networks here. From any Seaskipper port, you can access Corkus fast travels and Fruma fast travels. You CANNOT access Wynn or Gavel fast travels (except Tempo Town and Kandon-Beda) without having to walk between cities. For players, this means a Detlas scroll is essential in early-game unless they want to walk to Detlas or Ragni repeatedly. Meanwhile in Gavel, since the Juggler is one-way and no form of fast travel exists to go back to Cinfras, players also need a Cinfras scroll in eastern Gavel. Since the game practically requires the players to carry both of these scrolls, a fast travel between the two is unnecessary since players will have the scrolls to their destination at all times anyways.

The airship really adds nothing and sets fast travel expectations unrealistically high. Hopefully it gets removed in Gavel rework (if that happens)

Bam, four scrolls, and it could be two if I didn't just hate SE or skill issue in Mistwoods.
I suppose an alternative Corkus route would be Detlas, Cinfras, Thesead, Kandon-Beda, Hot Air Baloon.
At Any rate, if there was no Detlas-Cinfras fast travel, that instantly ruins one of the greatest connections. I'd have to buy a Cinfras Scroll for goodness sake! Plus it makes sense the Capitals are connected.

 

Hard disagree on the logic. The Wynn Plains are easily traversable and nowhere is an unreasonable distance from Rangi or Deltas. Buying a Cinfras scroll isn't necessary, as there aren't that many things that make you go back to the city after the distance becomes less reasonable. I've certainly used the fast travel a number of times, even though I also have Ragni (bought years after I first completed most of Wynn's content) and Forgery teleportation scrolls, as it's convenient during festivals. Also, removing a fast travel (or any feature that isn't hard to maintain) on the basis most players won't use it, even if true, is an idea that accomplishes nothing except annoy some portion of the player base.

 

I haven't used fast travel or scrolls in a while but my main problem is just that being told that you can ride the airship from Cinfras to Detlas and seeing all the other airships in like Kandon-Beda and Ahmsord
You expect to have a lot of airship fast travel and it's kind of disappointing when there isn't

 

I feel like it would make more sense to replace the Juggler with a one-way airship rather than just removing airships. The Juggler is already in Cinfras, and and the locations could vaguely make sense for an airship to fly there.
