Hi y'all, I'm playing a play through with my friend and its his first time playing and we're at level 63-64. He's play assassin and I'm doing shaman but I don't know what archetype to use on shaman because i started using summoner but it's kinda boring and ritualist does no dmg and I don't think I'm good enough to do acolyte. What do I do????

Ritualist is getting reworked in the next patch, so it may be more powerful after this. Acolyte is also not all that hard to play, so if you want to use that I doubt it would be an issue. Switch around and see what seems fun; there's no sense in sweating over what is optimal, especially at level 60.

Assassin is by far the hardest class to play imo, but in general it should be doing good damage. The main thing I'd say is to make sure you're using builds appropriate for your level (updating your gear every few levels, especially your weapon at the very least). If you both feel like you aren't doing much damage, it might just be because you're using gear you've outleveled.
