Tf does this have to do with the the Witch King, for he was murdered in cold blood by Eowyn, Princess of Rohan, towards the dusk of the Third Age?
Especially given we're in the twenty seventh year of the third millenium of the seventh age!
And even more so when by nigh on the end of the reign of Eldarion, the horrors of war were largely forgotten by those of Gondor.

No one else fits the bill, because there's certainly no constructive criticism in this thread, and our years are known as Anno Domini. So there are at least two mismatches there.

 

First, AD (In the year of our lord), and CE (the common era) are the same thing. Thus, 1000 in the year of our lord and 1000 in the year of the common era are the same thing.

Second, in Tolkien's legendarium, though High Fantasy, is still technically our world. In that sense, Tolkien isn't a writer of fiction, but translating the Red Book (or some derivative kept and made by Gondor). And in that sense, our time, whether you wish to call it AD or CE, is the Seventh Age (for in 1960 CE, Tolkien claimed the same year as the year 1960 of the Seventh Age!). Given that you brought up the leader of the Nine, I am now legally allowed to dump all my knowledge of Middle Earth lore into this thread, and given that you started talking about the Witch King, you must sleep in this bed you have made!

Also in terms of no constructive feedback, might I point you to pages 8 or before or so which are chalk full of (valid mind you) criticism.

No. I know it was a while ago, but remember that it literally started with a bunch of weird posturing, a single guy making a long post... about an alternate story I didn't write, and then the rest of the thread was composed largely of people arguing about details I never once touched on because they felt the original had been "debunked".

 

CE is a very commonly used alternative to AD mind you.
For examples from major style guides. All three major style guides (APA, MLA, and Chicago) allow both, though APA is truly neutral, MLA writes publications with CE though is Nneutral, and Chicago (though allowing CE) recommends AD. According to Merriam-Webster and Oxford English Dictionary, Common Era is attested to 1651. Comming from an old Latin phrase meaning Vulgar Era (Vulgar not with the modern connotation of something crass but the older definition of Common)

I had to check for myself, and Vulgaris really does mean "common". That's another little factoid of information that's going to be put in permanent storage instead of anything useful.

Would you by any chance say the player could be a sort of "antihero"? Of course the player could be true neutral, although I suppose this is due to the fact that this is an RPG that might as well still be expanding on lore and whatnot to this day
