What other games helped you get into Wynncraft?

I was wondering how many people here came to Wynncraft after playing other RPGs or MMOs. For me, a lot of the things that make Wynncraft enjoyable are the exploration, quests, different builds, and having areas that actually feel worth discovering.

I’ve played a few other RPG-style games where the progression is mostly just following a quest marker and fighting whatever is in front of you, so Wynncraft feels a bit different in comparison.

Did anyone else have a game that influenced how they play Wynncraft? Maybe another MMO, Minecraft server, or RPG that got you interested in things like builds, exploration, grinding, or questing?

I’m curious what games people here played before Wynncraft and whether they think any of those experiences made getting into Wynncraft easier.

 

So it wasn't really another game that got me into Wynn (assuming we don't count default Minecraft lol), BUT through a sort of roundabout means, (hang on with me here-) my Interest™ in the Mega Man music specifically carried over to the Wynn OST, and for some reason THAT above everything else got me to stick around in the earlier days lol- so I'll half-contribute Mega Man to "getting"(keeping) me on Wynn initially :D
