Is there a way to beat the captain quickly?
I would go through the rest of the ship just fine and start the fight at almost max health but I have not been able to beat the captain at all, the closest I've got to was like 50% health qwq

Currently lvl 46 with i think decent gear

 

What class are you? The captain does significant damage if I recall. Make sure you have enough HP and defense, and bring health potions to avoid dying. Don't forget to buy stat pots (Nesaak potion merchant) if necessary.

 

Im playing assassin rn

I have a fair few potions but theres like a period of time after you use a potion that you cant straight away use another potion and the captain would kill me during that time period.
(SIDE NOTE YOU CAN GET OTHER TYPES OF POTIONS???)

 

Which archetype? If you're playing acro you might have a problem since there's less verticality in the Captain's room if I remember. Not sure how acro even plays at that level though. Trickster/shade should be less of a problem. Just make sure to run/vanish after attacking because I think the boss has a shotgun ability that can do significant damage. You may even want to just stay back and spam smoke bomb from a distance.

If all else fails, put a party on /pfinder asking for help and someone will probably help out.

 

Ah, im not sure about the archetype thing I just activated whatever is available on the skill tree ;A;

Also, if your having trouble quickly getting up health, I'm not sure how much you need at level 49, but Rich Potions of Healing from the bremminglar potion seller regens 500 health instantly with no cooldown. It isn't stackable and each only has one charge, but you can quickly spam them

Edit: oh wow, level 45 is only 560? I'd recommended having a few of those but also gaving a ton of rich pots
