sharpshooter whines about ignis

I like the new major ID, Dragon's Breath.
It fits better with the weapon, but...
I feel like Sharpshooter has gotten the short end of the stick, and this doesn't really help.

also phantom ray is bugged and doesnt realize enemies exist 80% of the time my dps is halved from this pleas efix

 

In order to understand the MID I need to know what buckshot is but I don't. Am I stupid? No. Out of touch with Archer since Fruma? Very much so.

 

Buckshot is a Boltslinger node that makes it so when your Arrow Shield runs out, you spew 75 arrows all at once.

 

I play sharpshooter and I used to use ignis, but now I can't use it properly (I could get buckshot but the arrows would remove all of my focus)

was it heart of the pack/altruism before or was there an MID in between?

I do tend to agree that it makes it a lot more useful for a boltslinger, now, which kinda sucks. That said, I've had tons of fun being a healer archer in raids; it's actually really useful now because you can heal on demand. I also probably made someone rage quit the game because they kept queuing with some dumbass with the worst build of all time and who does like 500 dps, which is fun for me at least.

all of those 400k dps or whatever builds break like glass lmao

 

I'm a fellow thick health bar enjoyer. I'd rather do 200k dps for the entire fight than 500k for the first 10 seconds. I know there's tons of people who can get by just fine, but as someone who doesn't play nearly enough to git that gud, I'm fine.

What does the MID do exactly?

 

Whenever Buckshot triggers, nearby allies (no clue if this includes the user) heal 100% of your Health Regen (i.e. having 2700/3s HPR will make it heal 2700 per Buckshot)
Never used it near players, but that's what I'd assume

 

So basically healing on command like Melkor said. Not bad imo, but I'll test it once I come back :D

 

It's actually pretty fun; because of the range and spread, it's pretty easy to keep your allies healed unless they're moving a ton, and if you just stack hpr it actually is a really meaningful heal, albeit at the cost of you doing no damage.
