Are there plans to add fog/other ambient effects to old content?

A bit weird to talk about, but in the Mistwoods there's an outstandingly cool vanilla fog effect in place. And I'm wondering if that kind of thing will ever get added to old content.

I think that many old areas would benefit greatly from colored fog effects. Such as the Molten Heights where it'd represent the dense ash, or the Silent Expanse (particularly the Ruined Olmic City) with a heavy fog that makes the omnispective wanderer more threatening.

Stuff like that would be awesome.

Agreed. The Realm of Light could use some mist too. The Nexus has it, so it would probably fit the whole realm.

Btw I'd like to point out that I know literally nothing about how that dense fog works internally but I am assuming (possibly incorrectly) that the color of it is customizable in which case I think the Silent Expanse fog would be much darker.

I'm just a huge fan of ominous spooky fog in games.
