Confused by Ice Canyon lore (possible Wiki mistake?)

Per the Wynncraft Wiki, Lusuco is "inhabited by a species known as the Ice Golems". Ok, sure, but where does it say this? Looking on the wiki, there are precious few mentions about such a species outside of the Ice Canyon page, which makes me doubt the accuracy of the information.
The Festival of the Bonfire description of the dead of Lusuco further makes me doubt the existence of Ice Golems, as "The cold has long lost its sway over the inhabitants... but the hearthflame remembers those who could not adapt." The implication that the current inhabitants of Lusuco are the descendants of the humans of Theorick's time makes me doubt the existence of Ice Golems further, as there is no suggestion anywhere that Theorick ruled over any non-human groups.

 

Maybe it's refrencinjg the Frost Golems and Glacial Golems around ToA... none of the other mobs in the mob list seem correct.
Also who tf calls it The Icy Desert lol.
I've traced it back to an edit made in December of 2020. The ice gollems are not mentioned on Lusuco's page itself, only this one. I think I will go investigate quickly.
Edit 3: All I've learned from this investigation is that I need to remember to talk to the Bonfire keeper more often because I FORGOT TO BRING HEARTHFLAME TO LIGHT LUSUCO...
Edit 4: Okay, so there was a mob called 'Ice Golem', that was removed in 1.14.1 from the Ice barrows Dungeon (or rather its predecessor, the Ice Mini-Dungeon). That offers a nice explanation; they're in similar locationsso maybe one is refering to the other? Except: wait, 1.14.1 came in August of 2016. The change to the wiki was made in 2020 and has survived six years of scrutiny. So I don't think it has anything to do with Ice Dungeon Ice Golem. Let me check further.

Edit 7: I read that Ohms (Gale's Husband) was a goldmancer who lived there or around the ice canyon? Maybe it has something to do with that?

I thought that Ohms' might have created the Ice Golems, but 1. Ohms' lore is mostly unimplemented, with his lab never having been fully completed and now is completely inaccessible and 2. There is still no concrete information that the Ice Golems exist as non-hostile mobs, or Ohms' somehow replaced all the inhabitants of Lusuco with his creations.
