Wynncraft Music Official MIDI/NBS Files?

Hey!

Any chance I can get the MIDI/Noteblock Studio files that were used to make the songs in the game? I found a place or two but they're over 5 years old now, so a lot of those songs are out of date, and none of them have the Fruma songs in them either. I'm trying to make sheet music of the Wynncraft songs since all the sheet music is old and/or outdated (check Nemract theme or Nivla Woods theme and you'll see the issue)

Currently slogging through Whisper from the Fruma Album and it is not fun, I think having the original files rather than a somewhat buggy and laggy recording from a mod that I found would speed up the process greatly.

 

If they aren't officially released, they probably won't be. I suspect the only way to obtain them would be to contact a CT directly and explain why you want the files. I don't know of a policy on this.

There's probably some kind of mod out there that would record the sequence of noteblock sounds in game directly, but I suspect using such a mod would be a bannable offense.

 

I don't think it is a punishable offense

 

Your best bet for newer songs is to use a community recording mod like Province of Music to capture the live in-game packet data to a local .midi.

 

I used that for Whisper, but the problem is lag can make it more annoying and it can categorize the data kinda wonky, so it makes the transcription harder.
