Espren! Such a beautiful town, and the main storyline helps a lot with establishing its place in the lore.

I voted for Timasca which is weird because my favourite city isn't in my favourite region (which is the Auburn forest) lol

I kind of like Aldwell but I hate the whole mist thing, Torran I visited like twice, Timasca is cool, but come is it better than Espren. Hyloch is beautiful, but I still like Espren more. The captured District in Aelumia I think is more interesting quest/plot wise than as a city itself. Though I do liike the canopy gaurds, they're cool.

I like Aldwell a lot, but the Auburn Forest is just too pretty to vote against Espren.

Aldwell. The NPCs there begin backing off if you stare at them too long, which is so peak rahhhh.

They do?? (I've noticed somewhere in Wynn NPCs who move away from you if you get too close - might also be Aldwell.)

They don’t do it if you have a Medallion on you, and some of the NPCs have different dialogue. Really neat detail.

For me it's Aldwell. I deeply enjoy the Mistwoods in general because of the fog and overall aesthetic but Aldwell is uniquely vertical and has such an amazing music track. Something about the somber-yet-peaceful music just hits right because generally speaking, the first time you enter the town will be during the quest (as it was for me), and it fits extremely well with Sui's sad and afraid emotional undertone going on at the time, and just makes it so incredibly memorable.

To me it's a prime example of how a story's journey can make an otherwise unimportant location a hundred times more memorable.

    Minecraft:
The Mistwoods (and by extension Aldwell) is covered in a dense ambient fog. I assume by your reaction that you have never seen this fog or even knew about it, and that's because for some reason, the fog doesn't appear on all Minecraft versions (particularly the most recent ones). I don't know why that's the case nor do I know exactly which versions work, but I know at the very least that 1.21.11 works, since that's the version I use.
I myself was confused when I first played through Fruma because the fog was the thing I was most excited to see about the Mistwoods, only for it not to appear so I just kinda did my own research and trial-and-error testing and found that 1.21.11 works before I continued with the story.

Anyways, this was my point with the quest that introduces you to the area; Sui is sad and afraid at this point and the music combined with the fog of the Mistwoods really sells the emotional undertone of everything that had happened prior.

Btw if you're wondering what Aldwell and the Mistwoods are supposed to look like, the transition into the Mistwoods looks like this:

And here's two other screenshots of Aldwell and the Mistwoods:
