The Wellspring of Eternity... exists? It's pretty? There's no reason for the player to go there besides getting the world discovery, it's not a grind spot of any kind as far as I'm aware. Most of its importance seems to be the lore, and even then it doesn't feel necessary, there are other places where immortality water could potentially come from/be created. I'm hoping when the Wastelands are added, this area is given something to do, because right now it's on fraud watch.

It's very noticeable that Fruma was released unfinished. Several quests were incomplete, alternate routes were missing, an entire region was missing, portraits were missing, the epilogue wasn't in. No Ultimate Discoveries anywhere. I suspect the Wellspring of Eternity might have been caught in that incompletion.

From what exists right now the implication is that the Sovereigns aren't naturally immortal due to being Scions, but rather picked it up here... but, like, Lari and Bak'al are immortal too. Two was Anathema's Scion before they could have accessed the Wellspring. Aldorei Elves are immortal now, but Lari can't have been caught in that effect, there was a whole two-part quest about it. Scionhood granting immortality feels obvious, so why is there a whole second source that the Sovereigns are interacting with?

It could be that Sovereign Two is the only Scion and that the other Sovvies are just... idk gifted magic. I'm not really sure what 'scionship' entails though I don't think it necessarily grants powers. I mean look at Bak'al (who has Corruption power, but not Darkness?). I only ever got the feeling that Two was her Scion. Do the others even know about Anathema?

Edit: Also, I don't think they're immortal per se, rather they are able to reverse aging or exempt themselves from it entirely. Whether because he was a changeling or not, Gikyo was killed... like properly killed, not like Majin who was smote by his own magic! They can die, but their powers (and magical amulets ig) make it really difficult.

Edit:Ths player is not in fact orphion scion

Likely because Anathema isn't really a fully fledged realm beast imo. Also because worldbuilding ig?

Oh really? I thought Lari was dead and he kept calling us his 'pulse' or whatever... and he showed us the Taproot and the guardian said something in the 62 lines of dialogue about us working together...

Two explicitly calls Tasim a Scion at the end of Apotheosis.
    We are not.
Bak'al is not the Scion of Dark.

Also when I said "immortal" I meant "immune to natural causes of death and very resilient" which is what typical immortality in stories that aren't focused on The Horrors Of Living Forever!!! looks like.

Its obviously going to have content there in the Fruma Part 2 update that's been alluded to a great deal that'd have the side content

I remain critical about Fruma being released without this additional part. I think you should have delayed a few more months. (And by 'you' I mean 'as a member of the CT you have a contact line to the guy calling the shots on update release time, but really you aren't actually to blame and potentially could have opposed the move yourself.')

It would've been delayed a year, not a few months. We decided we'd rather give you something instead of starve people of Fruma just so it'd have all the additional baubles
