What stats does a Shadestepper need?

Hello,

I have been trying to learn Shadestepper, but I am struggling with what stats to prioritize in my builds. So far I am guessing mana steal and life steal might work better than mana regen and health regen, since invisibility makes those less effective?

Why do people build melee builds? Does melee damage increase the backstab damage too, or not? Please let me know, I want to learn Assassin, but I am lost :’ )

 

there are hybrid builds for shadestepper too

but good for melee cause it has access to vanish, suprise strike and shadow travel

the other archetypes dont really have anything that works well for melee

 

2 kinds of shade builds, spell and heavy melee (hmelee). spell uses backstab, while hmelee typically uses melee/quake/chain lightning to execute damage. naturally, the each build will go for the its respective damage type. imo hmelee is way easier to build and play but i would assume that spell has higher potential.

 

people use melee builds because heavy melee shade can get more dps than spell shade ( i think ) because the powder special quake boosts melee damage so a lot so people use that

 

pretty busy but i'll get around to building cata shade just to test this out.

a nother thing if u dont mind do u know anything about trickster ive been maining acro and i whant to try trickster but iv got no clue about how it works or how to play it

 

now im doubting myself because i just did a test and got 500k burst on spell shade
