Report on research results about wyverns

Hi everyone!

I have recently been conducting research on wyverns, and I would like to share my findings and ask for feedback. It is generally understood that most stats scale logarithmically, so I attempted to derive functional relationships for each of them. I usually don't use English. So please do not point out about my English.

I define the key terms as follows:

Fastest speed: the maximum speed a wyvern can reach
Acceleration: effectively acceleration, or alternatively acceleration normalized by top speed (I don't know which one is better)
Highest altitude: the maximum altitude reachable by continuously holding the space bar
Max energy: obviously, it's max energy
Toughness: the chance of not being dismounted after taking a single hit
boost amount (in energy): the value displayed when an energy boost is obtained
Training progress: the level increase value in 2 digits "displayed" when collecting a training pop-up
Handling: currently undefined; I would appreciate suggestions for a rigorously measurable definition

As a starting point, I focused on two key parameters: speed [blocks/s] and altitude [blocks]. I also considered acceleration, but since it is not able to be exposed by Wynntils variables, it appears that a mod would be required to measure it.

By chance, I had access to four mounts with sufficient energy, and I compared their various stats. The resulting data is shown in the figure below. Because the dataset is extremely limited, I cannot yet assess how reliable or generalizable these results are. I would greatly appreciate it if others could substitute their own mount values into the proposed formulas to help evaluate the model’s validity.

I also observed several interesting phenomena:
The maximum altitude measured by this method is reached only the first time, after which it follows a damped oscillatory trajectory and eventually converges to a stable altitude of about 65% of the peak value.
When energy is depleted, most stats appear to become nearly independent of level (though not entirely; the dependence is very weak). In this state, fastest speed is around 11 b/s and highest altitude is around 49 blocks.

For future work, I aim to derive expressions for all remaining stats and further investigate the underlying mechanics of the speed boost.

If I were to guess, the line-of-best-fit for speed is not such a complicated decimal, but rather 1.5lnx+10. Similarly, altitude is 2lnx+40, or 2.25lnx+40.

it can be so. But it's not necessary the base of log to be e. it can be 10.
We just need more data.
