Shapes in the Dark tips

I'm currently trying to complete every world event at least once, and Shapes in the Dark is giving me significant trouble. The Eerie Outlines can kill me in a few hits, which means that in wave 5 when 8 spawn... I go from full health to dead in under a second. Are there good counters to them?

 

Build more ehp?

 

You should be fighting all of the WEs from level 90 up with a party if you don't have a god build. At least one other person for level 90 WEs, at least two for SE, at least three for Fruma.

 

yeah enemies in this one are ridiculously damaging. Switching builds may be in order

 

I've been able to do the Molten Heights and Sky Islands ones at level 105 with morph pre-Fruma, and have completed the rest of the Silent Expanse ones (besides Otherworldly Exhibition) with relative ease post-Fruma. The problem is that there aren't parties for non-Fruma world events, and I doubt anyone would join a Silent Expanse world event party, due to the content being old and too much waiting being involved.

 

You should be in a party unless you're using a strength-defense build, in which case you're an unkillable god that can also hit harder than a drunk dad. I would recommend str-def builds if you're struggling to play WEs.

I'd be able to heal you enough so that you don't die, OR I could survive it out and get the win for ya the long way lol.
