At around level 90 Wynncraft experience gain becomes cripplingly slow. Even hunting down every piece of content in the book, you might well come up short to make it to the next level. There just isn't enough XP... for, some, reason. It seems like an eminently fixable problem.

I've hit that point. Level 112; I'm around 0.2% off of hitting Level 113, so I probably will when I get to finishing the SDs, but unless the Fruma quests start yielding full levels in XP I'm probably going to end up only like halfway or maybe 2/3 of the way to 114. And that's going to continue being a problem that slams me constantly and breaks narrative stride. So:
    1. How do I make up this gap? (I've been relying on TNA runs thus far because they're reasonably stimulating.) Special stipulation: no mob grinding. I hate mob grinding, I think it is terrible design and terrible gameplay.
    2. Should I try to build up a very large pile of XP before continuing to the Mistwoods chapter of the questline, in order to make absolutely sure that I never run into this situation again by frontloading the arbitrary unnecessary grinding to cover the gap?
    3. Is this even a problem? Am I unaware of some XP jump that makes leveling actually reasonable which just doesn't manifest itself at this point?

1: Mini-quests and world events are probably your best bet. You'll need to do each world events several times, however. Not sure if a full forgery run could be good, I think it was fifteen percent of the xp from 105-106 on my warrior, and it could easily be more on a cxp world.

2: Whatever you want, as long as you do all of the content you'll have the same result, all that changes is the order you do it in.

    3: Kinda is, tragically.

Side note, once I reached the Highlands there was absolutely no need to grind mobs, this is a solely Mistwoods and Roughworks issue.

I've been doing all the caves and SDs. I'll try to pay more attention to the WEs - I've been kind of avoiding them because I can't solo them and, more importantly, I'm impatient and don't want to sit through a 5-10 minute wait as is the case with most late WEs. But I will be doing them eventually, my 100%ing plan is still on.

Creating a party for world events for 2-3 people should work, though the wait time is admittedly annoying.

So, I tried to find a way to avoid grinding, and there isn't one. If you do all kinds of stuff below recommended level, and make sure to hit up all the world events and all the discoveries and all the gathering posts and all the quests and so on maybe you could get close. But realistically, you've probably gotta grind. You can repeat world events for loot and a bit of XP, so that's kinda nice (although one could argue that's still grinding mobs). The bat cave is efficient enough that I wasn't too upset by having to finish off a few levels there (it only took ~5 minutes to get like 5-10% of a level, even with no xp bonus or totem).

I've found a good bat cave party and have gotten to 114. Is that enough?

Personally I just went whenever I ran out of stuff for a level. Don't think I needed more than 5 minutes for any level, and I'm at 118 now.

You'll often a find fruma WE parties on the party finder. Just join one and you shouldn't have problems with completing them.
Personally I didn't have any problems with xp in Fruma though. I started at 106 and did all quests, mini quests, caves, discoveries, secret discoveries, and world events, and had no problem getting to level 119. I just had to do like 15 mins in bat cave and that's it.

I guess I forgot to mention it but at that point I hadn't completed every secret discovery I could do at level. Instead of those 15 minutes in bat cave I could probably have done a secret discovery instead. And also 15 minutes really isn't that much, I wouln't even consider it a "problem" personally.

If you level up throw the quests, you still need to go to an XP spot to finish some levels. For some levels its also enough if you do the caves too.
The Bat Cave is the best spot to level up right now.
