Questions on the nature of flint arrows

Hey all

Like any sane person, upon learning that Bolt was being reworked to something beyond 4-3-1 makes a big number, I became very interested in devising an arrow storm centric spell steal/hybrid build with Masterwork Stratiformis. However I have a few questions on flint arrows, being

1. Do flint arrows replace your main attack arrows or are they added separately? (Does having double/triple/penta shot impact the amount of flint arrows fired)
2. To which approximate degree do flint arrows spread in relation to the crosshair?
3. Do flint arrows trigger life/mana steal?
4. Are flint arrows impacted by homing shots and power shots?
