Mine is Apotheosis, unless The Missing Piece surpasses it. I also really loved Queen's Recruit, Off the Rails, and Ensemble of Hope.

(if you say why and it contains a spoiler, please put it in a spoiler box)

Mine has to be the Blossom of Blades chapter as a whole.

All the previous arcs felt too rushed despite also being walking simulators. Like, we meet one group, we blink, and wham, we're in another city and there's another group, and then yet another, and then one more again. Jeez louise… give me some time to grow fond of the first group, yeah? There's enough Gogeta to go around. Get in line, besties.

I don't think we spend nearly enough time with the characters for all those twists and reveal to have any sort of impact.
    • Oh shit, this lady we just met is on friendly terms with this Sovereign we ran into one time. Woooow, big deal.
    • Oh crap, this kid we just met is a mysterious double agent. Okay, I guess, sure.
    • No way, this bird guy we spoke to twice got replaced by a shapeshifter for a few hours. Well, alright then.
    • Whaaaat, big bro that we spent some time with didn't survive his torture. Damn, RIP twin, but also, eh. Yk?
(Okay I'm obviously exaggerating, and it goes without saying that I deeply love these quests and characters, and I know that Wynn can't just up and make everybody sit through 5 seasons of filler to build rapport, but I'm not wrong about this.)

It wasn't until Ensemble of Hope that I truly started caring about the Leaves, Steel Feather, and Canopy folks. Which reminds me that the Blossom dweebs are completely undeserving of being the name of the final trilogy. And on the topic of dweebs, it gave me SUUUUCH whiplash that we went from bonking TCC and poking the Eye and finally discovering our homeland… to…
Stealing papers, gathering sticks & stones to craft weapons, grabbing clothes from rooftops, sabotaging little contraptions, etc. like we're back in 2016 Gavel.

It took until Overture to Despair before we finally went back to what truly matters. And even then, we immediately got interrupted again by more contrivances of this peanut-scale rebellion.

I don't think The Missing Piece, as a whole, tops the final quests. It feels like scrapped fragments of multiple quests were sewn together to provide some meaty content surrounding this side story (because obviously a quest can't just be yapping and lore and cutscenes, but they way overdid it IMO).

(i hadn't finished the missing piece until a few minutes ago, which is why i wrote "unless it surpasses it")
that ending left me in SHAMBLES. on the whole I didn't mind a lore/puzzle/dialogue quest, but... it made me so sad...

Off the rails, I appreciated how it was similar to murder on the orient express and those two guards on the train were awesome. I also thought apotheosis was an epic ending to fruma

Because I got busy and haven’t made it past the last Timasca quest, I’d say off the rails has been my favourite so far
I think I like that it’s one of the few not connected to the larger questline so it can stand on its own, and also the quest itself is just fun
