Did galloping spurs lose its Major ID?

Got these boots dropped just now. It seemed like this item used to allow you to attack on horses, but with the mount rework this might be gone?

Seems a bit underwhelming for fabled gear now :/

 

yes, nothing has cavalryman anymore

 

It was too broken with Wyverns so instead of restricting it to horses they cut it

 

This misses the fact that there wasn't time to restrict it to horses. I imagine in the not-so-distant future, Cavalryman will return in a way that works with the new mount system

 

Good to know, that makes me feel a lot more positively about the change.

 

I really hope this is the case, it was such a fun playstyle
