Fruma Secret Discoveries

I'm currently level 111 and have hit a progression wall where the only sources of EXP available to me outside of grinding are world events, which I'm bad at, and secret discoveries. I've only done the two that already have wiki pages... anyone know anything about getting them? I can't find anything online about any of them outside of the aforementioned wiki articles and bug reports, the latter of which I have tried to use to find secret discoveries to no success.

 

There was a post on the discord in one of the Fruma specific channels. Also, you can do caves and mini,-quests for XP.

 

I've already done all available caves and mini-quests, and avoid discord like the plague.

 

Here's some locations (not exact, just the general area)

Auburn:

I am having a similar issue and am looking for secret discoveries. This reply might not help you much due it containing only the solution to a single secret discovery in the Mistwoods. But since I've not seen much info about secret discoveries, I'll post this one here so this post can have them grouped up before the wiki does.

Spoiler: Mistwood secret discovery

East of the Adwell Sanctuary, at the exit of the area's sovereign building, there are materials scattered around.
To complete the secret discovery you're supposed to visit 4 memories, which are accessed by picking up specific items. And seeing a cutscene of how a wicker burns.
From what i remember of what i did was picked up a bunch of materials such as rocks, wood and hay (non profession wise) near that area and clicked all i could with them.
Ended up with a rock moved for an archer, under which was one of the memories.
Used up the materials i found to build a wicker man and burnt is with a candle that i had trouble at finding, which ended up being near that same archer npc. (On the table)
Lit up the wicker man and got the discovery after the cutscene.

I remembered another discovery in the Mistwoods.

Spoiler: Second Mistwood secret discovery

There's a npc on the ground level in Aldwell, called Aldwin. He's asking for petal boquets. 4 different ones. I do not remember where the flowers that give you the petals are. However I remember seeing a video where a dude completed this discovery in attempt to finish a quest. I cannot post links yet as I never speak on forums and am required to have 10 posts in order to send links. Channel's Mix_zer, pfp looks like a white letter "M" on a black background. The video's name is " [Extra] Celebrations in Smoke - Fruma Quests - WYNNCRAFT - HERO BETA"

Timestamp of the start of the search for petals is 26:21.

 

Weird. I've been doing all the stuff the content book points you towards (quests, mini quests, caves, and first time world events) as well as the secret discoveries I happen upon and I've had no problem leveling with just that.

Edit: Mostly unrelated but I don't know where to put it as it isn't a bug per se, but while exploring Timasca, I found that in the newsstand, the "Weekly Fruma News" just says "tba".

 

To keep going down that tangent, there are a few things that are not fully implemented yet. From example the missing piece has a "the other option" choice, there's a locker in off the rails that gives you "various items" (noting at all) and there's a whole route in queen's recruit that isn't in the game yet. Also there's still some villager npcs in odd places.
Anyways tldr : the CT most probably knows and will get to it.

 

So there was (or would be) a way to tell Tasim the truth... oh!

 

Good news: Through this thread and looking at Olinus10's streams, I was able to find all the secret discoveries through the Mistwoods. Thank you!
Bad news: I've run out of good options (besides world events I've tried and failed badly on) for EXP 5/6 of the way to level 114, and there seems to be very little newly available EXP that level, literally just one side quest and one cave...

 

Grind random fodder mobs ig

 

Bat cave grind parties are really efficient, world event parties work as well if you can't solo them. Both of these give really good XP that should cover your needs.

Now in the Highlands (level 117 so no Aelumia stuff yet) and managed to find the Buried Records secret discovery, if anyone is struggling to find it, let me know. The other three available to me in the Highlands stump me:

• Based on closeness, A People's Sovereign seems to be pointing to either the Xima Valley, which wouldn't make much sense, or somewhere in the Ragni Outskirts or that train station, which I have no way of accessing as far as I'm aware.
• I've looked through the sunken ruins, and besides a staff the game doesn't seem to want to the player to care about, I'm not sure where/how to trigger the Sunken Monument discovery.
• For A House Divided, I have no clue where the other keys would be. The fact that there are 4 locked doors and 4 keys, yet the key the butler gives you doesn't open any of them, is odd.

Hints would be much appreciated!

Related question, but where/when do you get a cipher for the ancient text seen in Buried Records (as well as briefly in Light and Shadow)?

Just comparing the first couple of lines of each script, the spelling is entirely different... is it supposed to map onto a non-English language the way High Gavellian and sometimes Ancient Wynnic are in Irish?

• Get the scraper from the entrance on the back of the building (-1974 -626) then use it to scrape one of the pipes overlooking the river. That'll take you inside and you can solve that puzzle.
  
  Solution (the solution is inefficient as heck, but you can try and mix and match to make it more efficient if it so pleases you...i was going off guess work for like 20 odd minutes and didn't think to make it easier for myself.)

Also yes frumish is supposed to be an other language but from what I've seen it's a conlang and not another irl language. There is a thread on the discord where ppl share their progress in deciphering it.

• Pick up the knife and use it to cut down the platform, in the shed push the barrel all the way to the water pump to get a water bucket. Use the water bucket on the furnace nearby and grab the key.
