Yo when is the festival of the heroes going to happen?

As the title said.

 

I haven't seen any date posted for the festival, but I wouldn't be surprised if it'll happen in May or late April. There's enough of a gap between Heroes and Bonfire that Heroes can be pushed back quite a bit, and Fruma bundles will be helping with server monetization in the meantime.

Also, I feel like there's a good chance they'd want to update the festival to post-fruma standards (dialogue portraits, Fruma npcs, etc.)

 

That, and they have to add a whole new cosmetic set if they follow the post-Wardrobe Wonders pattern.

I don't expect Heroes soon. There's a lot of factors, really.

• Fruma is dropping at the start of April, and Festivals are primarily in-between content to draw attention when no update's released in a while. Heroes being right on the heels of Fruma would defeat the purpose, overload the playerbase, and generally just be too much, too fast.
• Now that Fruma dev is done, they'll probably want to start making more stuff for Festivals again - they've noticeably fallen by the wayside these past two cycles due to intense development of main updates. If they want to break the pattern, that'll start with Heroes, so it might need more time in the oven - especially given the above-mentioned "Fruma dialogue portraits" affair.
• Bonfire, Spirits, and Blizzard are in a narrow timeframe. Even being the (respectively) summer, autumn, and winter Festivals, Bonfire runs mid-August to mid-September, Spirits runs October, Blizzard runs mid-December to January. Last year's Heroes was admittedly mostly over by right now (running mid-March to early April), but it can happen anywhere between February and July without ramming into the rest of the Festivals. There's a lot of breathing room, which makes it easier to delay Heroes.

If I had to guess:

• Around April 14 through to early May.
• Just May.
• If there's some serious delay, May through to June.

 

They can’t really move spirits or blizzard, but they should really have mid July-August bonfire

 

The summer festival being in early autumn is rather dumb.

 

Fall begins in Late September, not August or June.
