Trade Market strategy?

The imminent update will remove the Powder Master from the game. There's no indication that Powders will be removed entirely, but they're a fairly roadside feature at this point - people use them, but they don't seem important to me. It's unclear what system for Powders, if any, will replace the Master; but if the CT felt that the Master needed to be removed, then it's probable that the replacement system will be somehow friendlier to players.

I happen to have collected, over several years of playing, 27/22/20/29/22 A/T/W/E/F powders of rank 6, plus 44 blanks for 4. Would it be wise to sell all of these now, before the update? Each is priced around 1.25LE right now, so immediate liquidation for safety would yield 150 LE, or around two and a half stacks.

 

The maximum powder tier is being increased to 7, and presumably people will be wanting to powder their mythics with the new latest and greatest, so prices will probably at the very least not suddenly drop. You might find use in keeping them for your own use, or you might be able to make a quick buck selling them now or after the update itself drops. Shovels in a gold rush, perhaps.

 

If max powder tier is increased to 7 then I'll probably keep mine around, upgrade them immediately, and sell them off, keeping a few for myself.

 

The removal of Powder Master has no connection to the rework of Powder system, just a minor change on how you apply it. In general everything remains the same, so the market price will likely remain or increase (for Lvl 7 Powder)

 

How do you upgrade powders in 2.2? Is it the same exchange rate? I have stacks of t4 and t5 I’ve been waiting to upgrade
