Missed the Fruma pet?

Good, whichever time of day it may be for you fellow Wynncraftian.

I watched the Fruma trailer two days ago, and at the end saw you could redeem a pet? I had been bedridden for the past couple of days and wondered if I have missed the redeem window for Fruma pet.

Thats a bit lame… I don’t remember seeing any deadline for it and it’s still advertising it on the website/trailer. A bit misleading imo

I recall seeing the deadline on the website, so I think they did fine. Not sure why you brought this up over a week afterwards.

I was not trying to speak for the community, I was stating that I believed they advertised the deadline in an acceptable way, conveyed by my use of, "I think". In regards to the second half of my message, I was more confused by your claim of people being still confused, as the person who posted the thread had their question answered.

 

If a minor instance of confusion is an indicator of a lack of success then absolutely everything constantly fails, because regardless of how clearly stated it is some people will not notice

 

This is frying me because we are a Minecraft server and not the Roman Empire. I get your point Socrates, but the fact is that it can be better. The /fruma website states nothing of a pet. Even the NPC at Detlas was confusing, as it says "Gifts will be offered to those who attend, in the form of an exclusive pet." Great dialogue for before the deadline. Bad for after the deadline. It's been how long since? Nearing a month. You're blowing it out of proportion; Just put a sentence saying "deadline is ___"...

 

I don't think this is an issue, as the NPC quite blatantly states that only those who attend will receive the pet. The NPC now works as an advertiser for the upcoming update, as the models are a surefire way to invest players who haven't been paying attention to the website. Up to a few days past the trailer dropped, a countdown was listed, originally four hours but extended to 24. Since it has been over a week since the trailer dropped, there is nothing wrong with the website not displaying pet information.

 

Like at this point the poster has gotten the answer to the original question why are we still playing devils advocate

 

That is not what devil's advocate means but sure? The purpose is to be a bit more respectful and less passive aggressive to someone who may not know the answer to a question, even if it is "common sense." Let alone a staff member of the server...

Ok first off, why are we quoting common sense no one told anyone that you should just use your brain, the question was answered.
Secondly, how people interpret tone can be well up for interpretation, you haven’t seen Deusphage’s writing style as much but that’s the style I’ve seen a lot from Deusphage. Clearly no one from the poster to the person saying it’s a little misleading take any level of aggression (or if they did, chose not to waste their time).
Thirdly, You come in, a week and a half later, being very aggressive. You instantly point the finger at “you guys” which I’m assuming is staff. Then you brought in a quote about “the fact” (deadline) but proceeded to not use it in the right way? I mean you can’t really set a deadline poorly.
Then, you compare a Minecraft server to the Roman Empire?????? I’m not gonna even justify that. I do appreciate you calling Fishz wise though
And finally, it actually was on the website as a pop up for 24 hours after the initial trailer so that’s why you don’t see it cuz it’s over (wow no one could have guessed, WHOA)
