Can’t Equip Any Armor (new player)

Just started as an archer and I’m unable to equip any armor despite meeting the level requirements for them. If I try to equip armor above my level I get an error message, but if I try to equip armor that is at my level or below it, it just glitches and doesn’t apply it, no error message. Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong?

 

Not sure what exactly is causing this, but I'll give you some general troubleshooting steps in hopes that solves it:

When something doesn't seem to be working properly or needs to reset, you can /class or even switch worlds via /hub or /lobby.
It can also be a bug on your end. If you're not playing completely vanilla (mods or lunar launcher for example), try a normal minecraft instance.

Do you meet the ability point requirements for the armour?

Firstly, make sure you meet ALL requirements on the piece of armor. That includes level, quest completion, and later skill points (Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Defence, Agility)
Secondly, equip the armor through inventory. The game sometimes doesn't like it when you try equipping them via Right Click
