Are disguises disabled?

I just learned tonight that disguises (and free crates) are a thing, and I was very excited to have gotten a gnome disguise! However, when I asked others if my they could see my disguise (as I read that you cannot see your own), they could not. I also realized that I'm pretty sure I haven't seen anyone in a disguise whatsoever. So yeah, what's the deal?

 

Disguises still very much work, I saw one yesterday. Would you be willing to describe your process for equipping the disguise?

 

I open the character menu, open wardrobe, and then click the disguises tab, then equip the disguise from there. It shows the disguise model in the wardrobe. I just now asked another person, they don't see it

 

Well, apparently my party member could see my disguise! No idea why others couldn't

 

Are the other players you ask in the same world you are in? You can only see disguises if you are on the same world.

Disguises don't show on player ghosts. You can type "/toggle ghosts none" to filter out all players not in your world. "/toggle ghosts all" to remove the filter.
