Fruma early-2026, Will it be pre-GTA6 or post-GTA6?

Basically, we had news early today regarding fruma delay.

GTA6 is also planned in early-2026, so what do you think about which will come first?

Fruma is definitely releasing before May 26th 2026.
... That's not even "early 2026". That's not even quarter 1.

Fruma is definitely releasing first. Not because it'll release before may 26th, in fact it might even release a bit later than that, but because GTA 6 is getting delayed to the end of the year, mark my words

what i meant is, if by some coincidence fruma is NOT released before that date, due to the same unforeseeable circumstances leading it to being delayed til 2026 in the first place, people will be annoyed that you made this promise, and will rightfully say you made a promise you could not keep. It is usually a bad idea to say this kind of thing without permission from like everyone involved

imagine if you had PROMISED that fruma would DEFINITELY be out before december 31st 2025 at midnight. Though i didnt necessarily believe it, I was still annoyed when it was delayed. I completely understand why you need more time, and respect the work of all the CT and artists and such. I just dont think we need to announce a definitive release date in the first place until the update is finalised! thats why these promises are rash imo

I don't really mind how long this is gonna take, I'm just hoping for a more polished endgame. Wynncraft genuinely needs this update to be as good as it can be, it's been hyped up for ages.

 

I like the idea of a Realm of Lies. It sounds like a cosmic force either a part of or adjacent to the Darkness, yet one that can be interpreted in mortal societies such as the humans and the villagers more tangibly (which can, in some ways, make it scarier).

I had this idea a while back that the prevailing force in Fruma would be the Light. Not neceserily the Realm of Light, but just a general leaking of the Light in the land which, like the Decay and the Dark, changed and warped the land where it was. I think it would be a fun way of exploring the concept that Light and Dark are not necessarily Good and Evil respectively and how creatures born of light could be brought to attack the people and the land then spawn in, or how the Light would change humans it comes into contact with.
