Fruma hype!

Howdy. Haven't really been on for at least a year. lots of stuff going on in my life. Just wanted to stay I'm still hyped for Fruma. Are there any updates/new news on release or potential hero betas? I know the CT is bustin out updates just curious. Fruma was announced almost 3 years ago now. Anyone else still hyped?

 

There have been two updates about Fruma progress since then, I believe, and Fruma will likely come out either 2025 or early 2026, as it was announced that it should be released in 2025 earlier this year.

all I can say is the models in Fruma are unbelievably peak ...

 

Fruma in 3 seconds!!

 

Wynncraft: gets Fruma expansion with +~30 levels and tons of content with great visuals and (presumably from precedent) amazing gameplay
Minecraft: undead camels and copper armor and spears. Because that's what they needed- more armor and another throwaway weapon.

The cusk jockey is a fantastic addition. It's a frightening mob and it's genuinely difficult to fight.

The spear is actually goated. It's nowhere near as niche as the mace either. It is genuinely as usable as an axe or sword.

The copper armor exists for the shocking number of players who are very inexperienced with the game and have a huge gap between stone and iron tools. Just because we can get iron in 3 seconds and can make a nether portal from iron buckets doesn't change the fact that (iirc) about half the playerbase has never even visited the nether.

I'd also like to point out that Minecraft is such a huge game that they can't just add stuff like we can. It's easy for me to come up with an enemy, model it, make the AI, and put it in game because of the fact Wynn is an MMORPG, but Minecraft is a Sandbox game.
Honestly we should be glad we still get free updates after over a decade of the game being around.

Also, to add, the game drops are a temporary thing between 1.21 and 1.22. They're still working on a large update in the background. Think of the game drops like 2.0.2 (housing revamp) and 2.0.3 (lootrun update) of Wynn

 

Dear fruma update..

 

If I had to take a guess I would say it is likely we will see Fruma news and the beta early to mid November after the festival of spirits and the release occurring late November before the winter festival and the winter holidays which will pull away much of the content team. If we don't see the beta in November I would bargain we will have Fruma release early next year instead.

 

Only 62 days left for them to release it, if "Fruma 2025" is to be believed.

I read that as communism for some reason. More than once.

 

Not to get off topic, but where did Mojang confirm that they're working on a larger update in the background? I've been secretly hoping that this has been the case because I'll admit I've been a bit disappointed with the game drops, so I'm curious where you heard this info!

Reminder that whether or not Fruma makes the 2025 launch window; be respectful to the content team. It’s a large expansion that players have awaited for at most a decade now, best to release it when it’s ready.
