    My favorite books list is incredibly outdated, cause there was a huge gap in my reading, but recently I've been reading The King in Yellow, and I've been loving it. I'm also about to get Who Goes There? in the mail, because I loved The Thing (1982) so much. (The effects are just glorious)
    On that outdated list, from when I was a lil baby, I would honestly choose any of the Redwall books. I have my criticisms, mostly just the repeatedly repeating plot structure of them all, but I loved them when I first read them, and still have a lot of respect for them. (Yes, I did read the normal stuff like Harry Potter and Percy Jackson, but Redwall stands out to me a little more)
