Tool WynnPedia - The work Continues (BETA: v.1.0)

Greetings everyone,
After a couple of months away, I’ve decided that returning to the development of WynnPedia – the Pocket Guide makes sense for me.

However, before I jump fully back in, I’d really like to hear your feedback on whether you think it’s worth continuing to “invest” my time into the project.

❓TL;DR
WynnPedia is a desktop application that combines features from the official Wynncraft website and other community projects, together with its own unique functions. As far as I know, it’s currently the only dedicated Wynncraft desktop app.

What’s next?
While I was away, working on other projects and dealing with life, I had a long window to think and brainstorm.

Here are the new ideas and directions for WynnPedia:

• 
  
  • Offline mode: App downloads the latest data while online, and lets you continue using it even without a connection.
  • Guild dashboards: Expanded stats, fused with the current guild checker function.
  • Guild comparison (experimental): Compare guilds by levels, players, territories, etc.
  • Guild progress history (experimental): A system to continuously log guild progress (xp, territories, etc.).
  • Builder & Build Library: Create and share builds directly in the app, with the goal of real-time sharing between players.

These are all concept ideas – not guaranteed features – but directions I’d love to explore.

That said, development takes a lot of time, and in my current situation, every bit of support helps.
I may add an optional Buy Me a Coffee / Supporter option. If I ever decide to include perks, they would be cosmetic only (themes, visual swaps, custom settings).

Unfortunately, my weekend schedule was already packed, but I still managed to make some progress — I’ve prepared a batch of new assets to replace the ones currently in use.

Disclaimer: These icons were generated with the help of an AI model, but all rights remain reserved to me.

On a different note, I completely overlooked the fact that the recent Wynn profile update and its new security/privacy options (for hiding statistics) ended up breaking the app’s visuals whenever that content is hidden. A visual fix for this will also be included.

sorry for the delay — while I was planning to bring this project back to life, some real-life things came up and needed my attention.

I’m planning to get back to working on WynnPedia next week (or the week after at the latest).

Hello everyone,

I’d like to apologize for the delay. Recently, I’ve needed to take a step back and focus on other parts of my life. Because of that, my time and motivation have faded a bit.

That said, WynnPedia is not fully finished yet, but it’s already stable and perfectly usable on a daily basis — and I’d really appreciate your feedback. If the project sounds interesting to you, please give it a try and let me know your thoughts.

I’ve also updated the original post and added download links, so you don’t need to go back to the previous thread.

Your feedback will help me improve both as a developer and make WynnPedia even better.

Hello,

Due to unexpected situation I had no time and motivation for WynnPedia. However, I've accomplished to finish landing page design for upcomming WynnPedia website (still needs to create mobile, desktop version together with sub-pages). But this design should stay, even tho it's still WIP.

Let me know, what do you think about it?

I'm want to keep WynnPedia supported, I'm aware of needed changes due to last API update from Wynn's side, together with critical bug due to which using identif. filtering in item database cause black screen.
Hopefully, I'll have time for it in next following months.
