I do have a question that isn't talked about here, probably because the answer is no but I'll still ask in case : does +- tier atk speed change which atk speed multiplier is used for spell calculation ? I mean the multiplier attached to fast/normal/slow/etc atk speed.
It would probably be busted since I've saw some really high +tier atk spd IDs and it wasn't mentionned anywhere so I would guess it's not the case, but then, what does it really affect ? I would bet it only affect melee atk speed and spell just use the intrisic multiplier of the weapon but what do I know, I just discovered this thread half an hour ago (which is absolutly awesome btw, I sough out dmg calc to resolve my question about raw spell dmg since I'm playing mage rn and it seems pretty strong after reading everything)

I had another question a few days ago after discovering the chest piece named About-Face : I though that thorns and reflection only reflect the % chance of actually triggering it, so anything above 100% is useless, then, why does this item even exist lmao ? Is it just a troll from the devs or a reference to something maybe ?

Lastly, for completeness' sake about thorns and reflection since I already looked for an answer about the mecanism, it does 150% of damage received back to the attacking mob (50% to player).

    Minecraft:
Having over 100% thorns and reflection makes it so that 1: even an about-face with the lowest rolls in those ids will have 100% and 2: you'll be able to have 100% thorns and reflection even if you have -thorns% items or -reflection% items. It doesn't make too much of a difference but that's just because thorns and reflection are pretty useless ids for the most part.

    no.
that's why certain weapons with say, fast attack speed, have -1 tier attack speed, so that their base spell dps is higher than their effective melee dps. this can also be applied in reverse.
    yes
