It shows the player list on chat every time I talk with NPCs with Wynntils

It never happens without Wynntils, so I think it's about Wynntils.
If this is a function, how turn it off?

It 1.21.4, no other mods.

 

Wynntils npc handling has been pretty broken since 2.1.3 because of chat changes they made, it's very difficult for us to split apart the messages that get resent while in dialogue now so it's no longer hidden. The reason you see your friends list is because we run the command when you join a world so that features relying on that information can work but when it's originally sent we hide it

 

Thanks for your note. Would there be an update that is hiding the friend list while talking to NPCs, just as when I join a world?
Or what can I do now?
Is that the reason that an NPC dialogue overlay exists?

 

Nothing you can do for now sadly, it's just something we need to fix but despite how simple it may seem it's actually quite a difficult issue to solve
